Description of problem: After upgrade of java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless-1.8.0.60-15.b28.fc24.x86_64 I'm left with $ md5sum /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.60-15.b28.fc24.x86_64/jre/lib/security/java.security* 4612cb0ed3daad9b8a52d2db6607aeaf /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.60-15.b28.fc24.x86_64/jre/lib/security/java.security 400cc64d4dd31f36dc0cc2c701d603db /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.8.0-openjdk-1.8.0.60-15.b28.fc24.x86_64/jre/lib/security/java.security.rpmnew I'm pretty sure that my java.security file was unmodified, but the md5sum of it is not in the list of "original" md5sums to overwrite listed in the posinstall scriplet. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless-1.8.0.60-15.b28.fc24.x86_64 Expected results: java.security.rpmnew renamed to java.security.
This was really missing in rawhide for sometime. Was already fixed in end of NOV: http://pkgs.fedoraproject.org/cgit/java-1.8.0-openjdk.git/commit/java-1.8.0-openjdk.spec?id=caa6227325aeb9480b1d901c605189cd82b37354
