Comment 2 Andreas Kriegl 2015-11-07 07:45:49 UTC
The problem persists with kernel-4.2.5-201.fc22.i686

Comment 3 Andreas Kriegl 2015-12-22 12:51:37 UTC
Calling hibernate via action buttons in xfce4 fails:

It locks screen, seems to create hibernation image, blanks screen,
but does not power off. Only hard reset is possible thereafter and
rebooting does not use the hibernation image.

This problem persist with kernel-PAE-4.2.7-300.fc23.i686

Comment 4 Need Real Name 2015-12-25 02:16:52 UTC
In my case the problem only occurs with 4.2 PAE kernels, while there's no problem with either <=4.1 PAE kernels or 4.2 non-PAE kernels. So I think the bug is in the 4.2 PAE kernels.

Thank you for reporting your issue. Problems specific to i686 machines are a low priority and require community assistance. You may report the issue to the upstream kernel community to attempt to get faster results.
