Description of problem:
Dear Sirs,
when I tried to watch TV (Hauppauge WinTV) I managed to see my favourite channels with xawtv but not with tvtime. Since I wanted to use Freevo I asked in the help-chat of tvtime. A gentleman named Vector made me download/test a program called xvtest. It showed the same green window behaviour like tvtime. He wrote me to tell this to the world here because this allegedly is a bug of the x-server driver (?). Can be that I didn't understand everything.
So this is green window with tvtime (no menu, no nothing is shown), green window with xvtest and:
