From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; de-de) AppleWebKit/125.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/125.8 Description of problem: Dear Sirs, when I tried to watch TV (Hauppauge WinTV) I managed to see my favourite channels with xawtv but not with tvtime. Since I wanted to use Freevo I asked in the help-chat of tvtime. A gentleman named Vector made me download/test a program called xvtest. It showed the same green window behaviour like tvtime. He wrote me to tell this to the world here because this allegedly is a bug of the x-server driver (?). Can be that I didn't understand everything. So this is green window with tvtime (no menu, no nothing is shown), green window with xvtest and: uname -r 2.6.5-1.358 /sbin/lspci 00:00.0 Host bridge: VIA Technologies, Inc. I'm not sure about the savage chips, but it may be that XVIDEO support is not working. If so, the driver should probably disable XVIDEO completely so that fallbacks can work rather than show something broken. http://bugzilla.xfree86.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1205
