Description of problem: For some apps (virt-manager and anaconda in particular) text input fields, drop down lists, etc are not clearly visible. They don't have a border and their background color is grey blending into the rest of the UI of the application. See the attached screenshot. OTOH other apps appear to be just fine. In the example mate-screenshot. I've tried running both as root and also virt-manager as root and non-root, doesn't seem to have any difference. The next thing I can think of is that both virt-manager and anaconda are actually written in Python and use glade files to define their interface. Could that be the reason ? At this point I have no idea which component is to blame so please reassign if necessary or let me know what other info to provide. I'm using the MATE desktop environment.

These are with gtk3-3.19.1-1.fc24.x86_64
Created attachment 1107048 [details] Missing buttons borders Upgraded to gtk3-3.19.5-1.fc24.x86_64 and latest MATE desktop packages as of today and I started seeing the issue more often. Even button borders are affected. Also some form fields and buttons in Firefox are not displayed correctly.
Theme will need adjustments for gtk 3.20. I'm moving this to mate.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 24 development cycle. Changing version to '24'. More information and reason for this action is here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_Program_Management/HouseKeeping/Fedora24#Rawhide_Rebase
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=741291 The default theme and most others are working now well with gtk+-3.20, until the next breakage (scrollbars and sliders) which is already done by damage.inc in their gtk+ git repo.
