Wayland is causing flickering in Rawhide when plugged into second screen

This happens mostly when using gnome-terminal on the secondary screen. I am using a X1 Carbon as the laptop. It sometimes gets so bad, that I have to restart Wayland session. I usually can get it to stop by changing primary apps using Alt-Tab
It has been happening with the last few kernels.

This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 24 development cycle.

no longer maintained, which means that it will not receive any further
security or bug fix updates. As a result we are closing this bug.
If you can reproduce this bug against a currently maintained version of
Fedora please feel free to reopen this bug against that version. If you
are unable to reopen this bug, please file a new report against the
