Description of problem:

Missing config file.

[root@base ~]# dnf provides /etc/sssd/sssd.conf

Neither in sssd-common-1.13.1-2.fc23.x86_64 nor in sssd-common-1.13.1-3.fc23.x86_64 the file /etc/sssd/sssd.conf is included

Comment 1 Jakub Hrozek 2015-11-26 15:56:34 UTC
That's expected, sssd.conf is marked as %ghost in the config file:
%ghost %attr(0600,root,root) %config(noreplace) %{_sysconfdir}/sssd/sssd.conf

We don't ship any default config file as there's no way for us to provide a meaningful configuration without either manual intervention or a tool like realmd/authconfig.
