Description of problem: Since upgrading to RHEL 7.2, file associations in Thunar are messed up and changing them from the Properties dialog has no effect. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): Thunar.x86_64 1.6.3-2.el7 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Thunar and browse to a directory with e.g. PDF files. 2. Double click on a PDF file: it is opened with the default PDF viewer, e.g. evince. 3. Change file association (right click on PDF file -> Properties -> Open with) to say gv. 4. Double click on a PDF file. Actual results: The file is opened with the old default app (evince). Expected results: The file is opened with the new default app (gv). We could just cherry pick this one fix over, but I don't see anything thats incompatible in the latest Thunar version. Can you test this scratch build and provide feedback: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/taskinfo?taskID=11995854
