Created attachment 1100930 [details] engine and vdsm logs Description of problem: When trying to create cinder disk when there is no connection between the engine and the cinder storage, an Error massage should appear and the operation should be blocked after the Timeout expired. currently the user does enter to the screen and unable to create disk because the volume type in the popup menu isn't define. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): engine - 3.6.1-0.2.el6 How reproducible: 100% Steps to Reproduce: 1. Block the connection between the engine and the cinder storage (using iptable). 2. Try to create new cinder disk. Actual results: After a short period of time the user get access to the disk creation menu, but the volume type pop-up window sties empty and the disk cannot be created. Expected results: Access to the disk creation menu should raise an Error massage when there is no connection between the engine and the cinder storage. Additional info: engine and vdsm logs attached.
