Description Matthew Saltzman 2015-12-11 13:39:02 EST
Description of problem:
I have double-click on the title bar set to toggle window-shade mode. It doesn't work with evince, though. I get an error in the terminal window where I started it: "(evince:6923): Gtk-WARNING **: Unsupported titlebar action toggle-shade"

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
evince-3.18.2-2.fc23.x86_64

How reproducible:
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set titlebar double-click to shade in tweak-tools
2. Open a document
3. Double click on the title bar

Actual results:
Error message above, no effect.

Expected results:
Window shade rolls up and down.

Thank you for your bug report.

Toggle-shade is not supported for client side decorations. You can verify that by testing applications that still don't have client side decorations such as gnome-terminal or rhythmbox. Applications such as Evince, Gedit, Nautilus... have client side decorations, therefore, they don't support toggle-shade yet.

I reassigned this bug to gtk+.

Yeah, not supported and unlikely to come back.
