Description Christophe Augello 2015-12-14 09:05:45 EST
Description of problem:

From docs:
https://docs.openshift.com/enterprise/3.1/install_config/install/prerequisites.html#configuring-docker-storage

~~~
Before using Docker or OpenShift, verify that the docker-pool logical volume is large enough to meet your needs. The docker-pool volume should be 60% of the available volume group and will grow to fill the volume group via LVM monitoring.
~~~

Example given in docs:
~~~
# cat <<EOF > /etc/sysconfig/docker-storage-setup
DEVS=/dev/vdc
VG=docker-vg
EOF
~~~

Actual results:

By default it will use 40% of the VG and may lead to confusion.

Expected results:

~~~
# cat <<EOF > /etc/sysconfig/docker-storage-setup
DEVS=/dev/vdc
VG=docker-vg
DATA_SIZE=60%VG
EOF
~~~

This will request the script to use 60% of VG.
