The email in my FCC: contains 4 spaces (along with emails received by the recipients.

The reason for the extra space is called "space-padding" and it is necessary to add when lines begin with a space. This is because Alpine is sending your message using the format=flowed format. In order to have Alpine not add the space, you either have to send it without using the format=flowed format, or you have to make PGP sign a space-padded message. -- Eduardo
