Description Andrew Toskin 2015-12-22 01:12:59 EST
My partner "Bob131" and I are collaborating on adding packages for the other Firefox development channels -- Firefox Developer Edition (also known as Aurora), and later, Firefox Beta. We are both new to RPM packaging, but are eager to learn, and would like to see these other "channels" of Firefox available in Fedora. The idea is that these packages should be able to coexist with Firefox Stable on the same OS.

We've begun work on Firefox DE first, forking the repository for Fedora's package of Firefox Stable. Our package is not yet in a working state, but you can see our progress at Bob's GitHub and COPR pages.

Let me know if I've left out any important information, or if I should have filed this somewhere else. Thanks!

Okay, do you need anything from Fedora Mozilla team?

BTW. I can't sponsor/review that packages because I don't have such privileges. You should seek help at devel@lists.fedoraproject.org - I believe there are people which such power and will to help here.

FYI: There's a check list for new packages and new contributors:

Alright, thanks. I'll read the checklist, and ask for a sponsor on the "devel" mailing list.
