On every KDE startup one is greeted with an alert box with the following
text "Could not find mime type image/bmp in
/usr/share/applink/redhat/Graphics/gimp.desktop".

A default beta2 installation - Workstation+Gnome+KDE+Games.

KDE is known broken in beta2 - we originally planned to ship a KDE
2.0 beta, but gcc miscompiled it and there was no time to fix gcc
(we're on that now).
This will be fixed with the move to 2.0.
