Description Gaurav 2016-01-22 12:52:13 UTC
Document URL: https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/7/html/Storage_Administration_Guide/nfs-clientconfig.html

Section Number and Name: 8.3. NFS Client Configuration

Describe the issue: Variable 'host' in the command is referred as 'server' while explanation and this is confusing.

Suggestions for improvement: Variable 'host' in the command should be replaced by 'server'.

Additional information:

The command should look like :

# mount -t nfs -o options server:/remote/export /local/directory

Hi Gaurav,

I've checked both the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 and 7 Storage Administration Guide, and both guides now seem correct:

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/7/html-single/Storage_Administration_Guide/index.html#nfs-clientconfig

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux/6/html-single/Storage_Administration_Guide/#nfs-clientconfig

If you see any problem, please leave a comment and reopen the BZ.

Thank you very much.
