For client certs we're using GTlsInteraction which was designed to support interactive responses from a GUI app, but here we're just programaticall returning a pre-configured cert.

It might be though something regressed in the stack, or we don't have the proper main context setup here anymore?

After evaluating this issue, there are no plans to address it further or fix it in an upcoming release.  Therefore, it is being closed.  If plans change such that this issue will be fixed in an upcoming release, then the bug can be reopened.
