Description Daniel Reed 2004-09-01 16:32:30 UTC
From Bugzilla Helper:

Description of problem:
There have been several situations where I have seen error messages
scroll by while booting and mingetty's clearing of the screen has
clobbered my scrollback.

mharris suggests the "--noclear" argument to /sbin/mingetty in
/etc/inittab, as in:

1:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty1 --noclear
2:2345:respawn:/sbin/mingetty tty2 --noclear
 ...
