Created attachment 1133806 [details] kdump NFS fail logs Description of problem: kdump NFS test fails with "eth0: Detected Hardware Unit Hung" however succeeds when tested manually. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): redhat-certification2.0-20151117 How reproducible: Repeatedly > Re-run Kdump nfs individually for 13 times in all, got 3 PASS results. (3/13) Steps to Reproduce: 1.Load BIOS default and set to UEFI mode 2.Install RHEL6U7 for cert test 3.Install redhat-certification2.0-20151117 , setup test environment 4.Run cert test with OS embedded driver and found output "eth0: Detected Hardware Unit Hung" repeatly on the screen after reboot during kdump nfs test. System could boot into OS after NIC reset several times 5.kdump nfs test failed [Verification] 1.Update NIC driver to e1000e-3.2.6-k (Intel NIC driver for I219-LM), still got the failed result 2. Ran Certification with same configuration under RHEL7.2, passed Environment : System: Mfr: HPE Prod: ML10Gen9 PCH : Intel Skylake-S (c236) Processor Info : Intel Greenlow / SR2CT/ E3-1275 R5 4c 3.6GHz 80w Memory info DIMM #1 : Hynix 8GB 2RX8 PC4-2133P-EE0-10 DIMM #2 : Hynix 8GB 2RX8 PC4-2133P-EE0-10 DIMM #3 : Hynix 8GB 2RX8 PC4-2133P-EE0-10 DIMM #4 : Hynix 8GB 2RX8 PC4-2133P-EE0-10 Boot Controller : AHCI BIOS : AMI source code (RC code 1.6.0.1) ME : 11.0.0.1194 LOM-I219_eeprom : v0.8 ~~~ Actual results: NFS test fails. attached "redhat6u7_Kdump_nfs_FAIL_log.zip" Expected results: NFS test should pass as it works when tested manually. Additional info: System does not have serial port, so providing console logs won't be possible. Opening the Bugzilla as per advise from hardware certification team.
