Created attachment 1134764 [details] it would be useful to have clickable notification resulting into some setroubleshoot gui in following list Description of problem: Hello, I have continuously bad experience with AVC denial notifications in GNOME. It disappears without any trace in gnome-notifications listings every single time when the notification bubble pops up and I click on it (with intention to open some dialog). There should be some better user experience ... since I can't easily view what actually happened from gui. Since the notify-send notification simply disappears after click Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): setroubleshoot-3.3.4-1.fc23.x86_64 setroubleshoot-plugins-3.3.2-1.fc23.noarch setroubleshoot-server-3.3.4-1.fc23.x86_64 gnome-shell-3.18.3-1.fc23.x86_64 libnotify-0.7.6-7.fc23.x86_64 How reproducible: Steps to Reproduce: 1. AVC denial occurs 2. Click on the AVC denial gnome-notification bubble Actual results: notification disappears after click (no dialog is opened) Click the date (in the middle of the gnome-shell panel), no Selinux notification is listed in there Expected results: A dialog with the actual report opens after clicking on the dialog bubble. Or if not ... then there should be a notification record next to other notifications (click on date located on gnome-shell pannel to see list of notifications) Additional info:
sealert still uses legacy tray icon on the left bottom of the screen. It needs to be rewritten to GNotification. Unfortunately, we don't have resources and expertise to work on that right now. But we'll appreciate any help in this area. The setroubleshoot development is tracked on github fedora-selinux/setroubleshoot project. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 1309395 ***
