According to https://github.com/powerline/powerline/issues/1502 it is a tmux issue.
11:42 < AquaL1te> ntnn: you were right, it has to do with that tmux-powerline isn't done yet with the right-status.. but they blame tmux :/ 11:42 < AquaL1te> https://github.com/powerline/powerline/issues/1502#issuecomment-159393154 11:44 < ntnn> jesus 11:44 < ntnn> 'i'm not at fault!' 11:46 < nicm> it is because when i changed the job code to integrate it with formats if the job (the #() command) has failed or not yet completed it will tell you 11:46 < ntnn> and as far as i can remember tmux handled it always that way (displaying verbatim with 'isn't finished' at the end) 12:44 < nicm> could be i forget 12:52 < AquaL1te> nicm, ntnn: so it's not a bug, it's a feature? :) 12:53 < ntnn> most likely the issue is, that powerline got even slower than it already was 13:16 < nicm> it is not a bug 13:19 < AquaL1te> nicm: okay, then i'll close the fedora bug report, thanks! The powerline devs say it's a tmux problem and according to the tmux devs it's not a bug, rather it's a feature. So I'll close this one.
