Description Mike Hackett 2016-03-16 18:34:26 UTC
Description of problem:

There is an UI problem in using Calamari: the browser scroll bar indicates
the page is much longer; but scrolling down it only shows empty space.

This is already present in DASHBOAD (about 1 empty page), and in “GRAPH” it is even more pronounced (about 50 empty pages for Page-Down).

This is an troublesome behavior when using Calamari, as it is not clear if some
valuable information is missing when scrolling to the end.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHCS 1.3.x
Calamari

Additional info:

When using “Save Page Source” there are several such constructs:
      <div style="visibility: hidden;" class="card graph-card graph-95">
And http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1992114/how-do-you-create-a-hidden-div-that-doesnt-create-a-line-break-or-horizontal-sp
discusses similar topic and advises “display: none”.
However I am not sure if that applies for Calamari.

This UI won't be part of the 2.0 product. Moving to 1.3.z for later evaluation

Comment 4 Mike Hackett 2016-08-17 13:05:41 UTC
Customer has OK'd closing out the support ticket on this case. This issue is not a priority for the customer any further as they will be moving to RHCS 2.0 and using storage console in the future.

Thank you,
