SERVICE CONFIGURATION (in Installation Guide) 2.2.7. Create Managed Domain on a Single Machine (in Admin Guide) Describe the issue: Need to clarify that when running a managed domain (with diff. host controllers using diff. "jboss.domain.base.dir" values) on single machine, it's not supported to configure multiple EAP instances as system service Suggestions for improvement: Add "Important" box in the doc page and highlight that in both installation guide and admin guide. For example : "It is not a supported use case to configure multiple EAP instances (for example, multiple host controllers in a domain) on a single machine as system service". Or: "When multiple host controllers are configured on single machine, it is not a supported scenario to run them as system service." Additional information: Running multiple host controllers on single machine depends on setting the property "-Djboss.domain.base.dir" for diff. EAP instances.
This looks good to me. Marking it verified.
Information on supporting only a single instance of JBoss EAP as a system service has been included, and is live on the Customer Portal at the following links: * https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_jboss_enterprise_application_platform/6.4/html-single/installation_guide/#Configure_JBoss_Enterprise_Application_Platform_as_a_Service_in_Red_Hat_Enterprise_Linux_RPM_Method * https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_jboss_enterprise_application_platform/6.4/html-single/administration_and_configuration_guide/#Create_Managed_Domain_on_a_Single_Machine
