When nfs-ganesha was originally added to Fedora, it included bundled libntirpc under a bundling exception. libntirpc was available unbundled from nfs-ganesha since fedora-21 (and epel-{5,6}) but continued to be bundled with nfs-ganesha until it was unbundled in nfs-ganesha-2.3 in fedora-23. In order to rebase to nfs-ganesha-2.3 in RHGS we need to add libntirpc as a separate package in the RHGS ganesha channel.
(In reply to Kaleb KEITHLEY from comment #3) > RHEL7 build at https://brewweb.devel.redhat.com/taskinfo?taskID=10706877 > RHEL6 build at https://brewweb.devel.redhat.com/taskinfo?taskID=10706899 > > Does releng tag these into the build or do I? The builds libntirpc-1.3.1-1.el6rhs and libntirpc-1.3.1-1.el7rhgs are tagged to rhgs-3.1-rhel-6-candidate and rhgs-3.1-rhel-7-candidate automatically during the build process. This is enough to get it added to the corresponding RHGS 3.1-z Errata.
libntirpc is available for RHEL 6 and RHEL 7: RHEL6: https://brewweb.devel.redhat.com/taskinfo?taskID=10706899 RHEL7: https://brewweb.devel.redhat.com/taskinfo?taskID=10706877 with below rpms for RHEL 6 and RHEL 7 respectively: libntirpc-1.3.1-1.el6rhs.x86_64.rpm libntirpc-devel-1.3.1-1.el6rhs.x86_64.rpm libntirpc-1.3.1-1.el7rhgs.x86_64.rpm libntirpc-devel-1.3.1-1.el7rhgs.x86_64.rpm above rpms has been installed and tested on both the platforms successfully. Based on the above observation, marking this bug as Verified.
