Hello, I got the same problem, but with other and serveral applications. In Zim Desktop app, Pidgin, and many other apps miss the menu icons. I checked the box in "gconf-editor" desktop > gnome > interface > menus have icons and restarted the gnome session and also restarted the PC, still no way! I upgraded from Fedora 23 > Fedora 24 then to Fedora 25 juste right after. The thing is, I tried to log in with Gnome classic, or Gnome with Xorg, i didn't have this bug, it seems to be related to Wayland ? Any information to debug this is appreciated. thanks
