Description Hui Wang 2016-03-18 09:24:08 UTC
Description of problem:

In advance search page, there is no way to show the subcomponent selector except to "Type a sub-component name". But after select Classification/product/component/, the subcomponent tips in the text "Type a sub-component name" disappeares. It's possible to confuse user how to select the subcomponent. It's worse if the user doesn't know whether or not the component has subcomponent.

I propose that it will show the subcomponent selector if the input focus move to the subcomponent input text, like the Status, Resolution.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
5.0.2.rh2

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to advance search page
2. Select Classification/product/component/ (Red Hat-->RHEL7-->Kernel)
3.

Actual results:
There is no way to show the subcomponent selector except to "Type a sub-component name". And the subcomponent tips in the text "Type a sub-component name" disappears.

Expected results:
The subcomponent tips in the text "Type a sub-component name" will not disappear. Or click the subcomponent input text, the subcomponent selector will show.
