Description Rob Washburn 2016-03-22 16:38:10 UTC
Description of problem:

In the RHEV 3.6 Administration Guide, Section 11.2.6 "Adding a VMware Instance as a Virtual Machine Provider," a hyperlink to "Importing a Virtual Machine from a VMware Provider" is provided at the extend of the section. Clicking on this link produces a 404 error - page not found.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHEV 3.6 documentation

How reproducible:

Every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. View Section 11.2.6 of RHEV 3.6 Administration Guide - "Adding a VMware Instance as a Virtual Machine Provider"

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.6/html/Administration_Guide/sect-Adding_External_Providers.html

2. Click on the link at the end of Section 11.2.6, "Importing a Virtual Machine from a VMware Provider"

3. Link goes to page, https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.6/html/Virtual_Machine_Management_Guide/sect-Adding_External_Providers.html#Importing_a_Virtual_Machine_from_a_VMware_Provider

Actual results:

404 error - page not found

Expected results:

It looks like the link in the RHEV 3.6 Administration Guide should be changed to point to Section 6.11.4, "Importing a Virtual Machine from a VMware Provider" in the RHEV 3.6 Virtual Machine Management Guide. The below link works.

https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-US/Red_Hat_Enterprise_Virtualization/3.6/html/Virtual_Machine_Management_Guide/sect-Exporting_and_Importing_Virtual_Machines_and_Templates.html#Importing_a_Virtual_Machine_from_a_VMware_Provider
