Description Dan Dragomir 2016-03-28 19:34:56 UTC
Description of problem:
I was cloning a btrfs snapshot using send/receive. The cloning is still in progress and looks ok for now (no errors or crashes from userspace).

Description of problem:
Using btrfs send/receive to send a snapshot from a btrfs partition mounted as read-only. The resulting snapshot was ok and btrfs check on the destination didn't complain.

Comment 3 Laura Abbott 2016-09-23 19:49:35 UTC
*********** MASS BUG UPDATE **************

We apologize for the inconvenience. There is a large number of bugs to go through and several of them have gone stale. Due to this, we are doing a mass bug update across all of the Fedora 23 kernel bugs.

Fedora 23 has now been rebased to 4.7.4-100.fc23. Please test this kernel update (or newer) and let us know if you issue has been resolved or if it is still present with the newer kernel.

If you have moved on to Fedora 24 or 25, and are still experiencing this issue, please change the version to Fedora 24 or 25.

If you experience different issues, please open a new bug report for those.

Comment 4 Dan Dragomir 2016-10-12 17:14:35 UTC
I don't have access to the offending filesystem anymore, in order to the with the latest update of Fedora 23.
Other btrfs filesystems that I have access to don't experience this bug.

Comment 5 Laura Abbott 2016-10-12 18:06:34 UTC
Thanks for letting us know. Given the reports were on an older version of the kernel, I'm going to close this bug for now. It can be reopened if the problem shows up again.
