Relevant patches have been merged in upstream dracut master branch. Would it be possible to take latest dracut in fedora now? It will help couple of other BZs for fedora and rhel to move ahead. Many thanks for your help.

Relevant patches are now in fedora dracut release version 044-75. So moving this BZ into modified state.
This bug appears to have been reported against 'rawhide' during the Fedora 25 development cycle. Changing version to '25'.
