Our RHEV 3.5 documentation has a problem and shows that you can block USB devices, at the client, using the USB Filter tool. We even include screen-shots. The problem is that this functionality changed due to a RFE where many customers did not want USB devices blocked at the client. This is why the customer is reporting that the functionality has changed and does not match what we document.

Hi Frank, I'm sorry, I'm not aware of that RFE you talk about. Can you please add more pointers about that? Thank you

I have sent the proposed fix to the customer to verify that it will meet their security requirements. I will update this BZ with their response.

Thanks,

Frank

From the customer:

I've looked at the proposed solution as the RFE. Based on the details here, it does look like we can get the functionality of "blocking a USB device" using a USB Filter as originally described in the documentation. This is one feature we would really like to see.
