From RHEV 3.6, tagged and untagged VLAN networks can be used together on interfaces and bonds. There are a few sections in the Admin Guide that state that this is not possible. These sections should be updated. Note: More detailed information on configuring interfaces and bonds has been requested, and will be covered in bug 980360.
Assigning to Byron for review.
I think we need to ask someone who understands linux networking better. Based on bug title, that line is incorrect. But I am not really sure what is actually correct. Dan, maybe you can clarify?
Can you reply on the question above?

The line is still correct since when creating a bond we still need to check whether the logical networks are compatible. For example, two non-vlan networks still cannot be assigned to the same bond/interface. This RFE is talking about removing the restriction of having non-vlan vm network attached to the same nic with vlan networks. Now, after the fix, one non-vlan (vm or non-vm) network can reside on the same nic with multiple vlan networks (previously is was allowed only for non-vlan non-vm network).
