Does something in Fedora depend on the .2 library?

Comment 2 Sidney Sedlak 2016-04-05 21:02:43 UTC
I tried to install audacious-plugin-freeworld from rpmfusion. Ut seems the -testing repo contained a newer version which requires .3 library.

Is there any reason why libvpx-compat provies .1 and libvpx provides .3, but nothing provides .2? Just curious...

Comment 3 Sidney Sedlak 2016-04-05 21:03:45 UTC
So the answer is - probably no, after eanbling the rpmfusion -testing repo

Comment 4 Zagro 2016-04-27 12:17:48 UTC
avidemux from rpmfusion requires libvpx.so.2 that is missing for fedore24

Comment 5 Tom "spot" Callaway 2016-05-09 15:14:57 UTC
Yeah. This is because rpmfusion is not being kept current and rebuilt against Fedora 24. Please file bugs with them.
