Description Matt Reid 2016-04-04 15:46:49 UTC
Description of problem:
Not sure if this is an environment issue on our end, but deployments in our lab environment almost always show the NFS validation message, even if ignoring it can result in a successful deployment. Not sure if it's a timeout of some sort (during reverse lookup?). May have worked around this in the past by manually adding hosts to /etc/hosts.

We'll try to look into this more next deployment.

Matt,

Please let us know what you find, as we discussed in IRC a DNS reverse lookup is top of list of suspects.

Once we know what is causing the odd behavior in your test environment we can look to see if a modification could be made to our checking to be more flexible....i.e. increase timeouts.

If you learn of more info and want to re-open please do so, closing now as we aren't sure what work we can do to help this issue.
