Created attachment 1143909 [details] brms_copying Description of problem: By trying to make a copy of a project for second or third time, etc, the project does not get copied and the UI stays static displaying the message "Copying" (see brms_copying picture). When the server is restarted, it is possible to make copies again. But after some attempts, the issue happens again. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): BRMS 6.2 How reproducible: Intermittent, as it does not happen at first or second attempt accurately. Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create a BRMS project; 2. Make a copy of the project; 3. Try to create other copies of this project. Actual results: UI stays static displaying the message "Copying". Expected results: It should just make a copy of the project. Additional info: Sometimes when the project is copied successfully, a warning message is thrown in the UI... but the project is copied anyway (see copy_success picture).

Hi all, At this point I am unsure if it is really a bug, but even after cleaning browser cache or trying in other browsers, the issue happens again after some attempts. Also, I enabled debug for "errai" and no errors are logged. By stopping the server, I noticed it usually hangs and I need to kill the process when the "Copying" message is displayed. I wasn't able to reproduce the copying error with BRMS 6.2.2 (6.2 rollup patch 2). I did get the warning message on every project copy though ('File "/project21/global" already exists.'). As the base project to be copied, I used the example project (repository1/project1), which is pretty much empty. Amana, are you using pure 6.2.0 or some patched version - 6.2.1, 6.2.2? Is the project you're copying empty (like the example one), or does it have some assets?

Hi Zuzana, I got the same behaviour in BRMS 6.2.2... this time I tested with an empty project in Firefox and Chrome. 1) I created a new project called project1; 2) Made a copy of this project as "project1_v1"... although that error message is displayed in UI and server.log, project1_v1 is created properly. 3) At second time, it got stuck displaying the "Copying" message... 4) Closed the tab, ctrl+f5 and try again... it did not get created. 5) Closed the browser and cleaned the cache... tried again and it is displaying "Copying" message again... Note: Sometimes it happens only the third time I try to make a copy. I am testing with BRMS 6.2.2, not BPM Suite. Even by enabling debug for errai/designer no error/warning messages are logged... it seems like it gets stuck!! Please let me know if you are able to replicate it. Thanks!
Thanks Amana for the info. I actually started getting the issue after my system got under a bit of a heavier load, but other than that, also really nothing much to grasp at yet.

Lukáš Petrovický, I tried it on BPM Suite 6.3.0 and got the exact same issue at first attempt. I can reproduce that by just clicking on "Copy" button for a project. My project contains does not contain assets... and there are not other projects so it is not overloaded. I will raise a cloned bz so it can get fixed in BPM Suite 6.3.x. Thanks!
