Description of problem: A form submission for search on www.google.co.uk fails. The search on google returns an error "wrong argument type" find-coding-systems-region: Wrong type argument: integer-or-marker-p, nil Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): emacs-24.5-7.fc23.x86_64 emacs-common-24.5-7.fc23.x86_64 How reproducible: Every time I tried Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start emacs 2. M-x eww 3. type "www.google.co.uk" 4. Navigate to the input field 5. Type something, e.g. "hola" 6. press enter Actual results: An error "wrong argument type" is reported. find-coding-systems-region: Wrong type argument: integer-or-marker-p, nil Expected results: see results of search Additional info:

FYI, verified Fedora 22 is also affected: emacs-24.5-6.fc22.x86_64 I'm not requesting a rebuild as I don't use eww, but last I checked 22 is not EOL-ed yet, so it might be good to push to f22 anyway. Thanks for your efforts!
