Description Per Lanvin 2016-04-13 08:52:20 UTC
Description of problem:

Since about two weeks RedHat Satellite 6 fails to sync the EPEL6 repo.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RedHat7.2

EPEL6

How reproducible:
100%

Steps to Reproduce:
Add the repo in the Satellite and select manual sync.

Actual results:
An error occurred during the sync
{"url"=>"http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/GMT-devel-4.5.11-1.el6.i686.rpm", "errors"=>["A connection error occurred"]}

The procedure fails with a different package each time.

All packages should be synced.

Additional info:

Downloading all packages with curl/wget works.

Can you show me the 0install config .xml that you have?

Comment 2 Per Lanvin 2016-04-14 11:40:29 UTC
Hi,

Please note that the component selected '0install' isn't correct. This issue concerns RedHat Satellite 6's ability to properly sync the entire EPEL6 repo.
If this bug report is in error and should should be transferred to another forum, please advise.

Moving 6.2 bugs out to sat-backlog.

Looks to be working now, I'm able to sync EPEL locally.
