Comment 2 Vasu Kulkarni 2016-04-22 17:32:47 UTC
Yan,

If you have a fix or workaround in your tree please provide the steps that we can verify in Ceph 2.0

Comment 3 Yan, Zheng 2016-04-25 01:40:27 UTC
The code is at https://github.com/ceph/ceph-client/tree/testing, but it's still not upstreamed. what else should I do for this bugzilla item?

Comment 4 Ken Dreyer (Red Hat) 2016-04-26 14:43:46 UTC
If zyan's kernel code is not yet upstream, I doubt the RHEL team will take it in their kernel at this time.

It sounds like you'll have to skip or modify this particular QA test when testing CephFS in the RHEL kernel.

Comment 5 Ken Dreyer (Red Hat) 2016-04-26 21:05:25 UTC
Vasu can you please update the test until the code is fixed in the RHEL kernel?

Comment 6 Ken Dreyer (Red Hat) 2016-05-10 13:11:41 UTC
From Vasu's email today:
> I am going to remove this test from the suite, will move this to
> manual verification with custom kernel if thats possible.

Comment 7 Vasu Kulkarni 2016-05-10 18:21:53 UTC
I have filtered this test so it will not be run.
