rhnreg_ks is not meant to provide means to registration to RHN. For registration to Red Hat Network use rhn-register.
Closing as NOTABUG.

So, couple of notes:

This is not true. rhnreg_ks is still the default way to register a system to RHN Classic during kickstarts.

I doubt the root/root is a valid RHN account. Make you use valid user credentials.

I was just able to register to RHN using rhnreg_ks. 

If you problem persists, please open a ticket with Red hat support.
