Description Sanket Jagtap 2016-04-19 13:41:54 UTC
Description of problem:

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Register a machine as content host to satellite 6 using activation key
2. Check the count of hosts in Host-> architectures in Web UI
3. Unregister the same content host machine
4. Delete the host from satellite 6.
5. Re-register the machine as content host using activation key
6. Check the count of hosts in Host-> architectures in Web UI , it would be incremented by 2.

Also, Same happens with Host-> Operating system Count.

Actual results:
Incremented by 2 on addition of content host , Decremented by 1 on re-registering content host

Expected results:
Count should decrement as well as increment by 1 on re-registering content host

Fix for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1341338 should also resolve this issue. Setting target to match and moving to ON_QA for verification.

Comment 3 jcallaha 2016-12-12 14:47:30 UTC
Verified in Satellite 6.2.5 Snap 3

Followed the steps outlined in the original report.

After registering the host, the architecture count increased from 970 to 971.
After unregistering and deleting the host, the count dropped back to 970.
After re-registering the count rose again to 971.
