Firefox PDF preview print

Description of problem:
When printing the pdf located here: https://www.redhat.com/cms/managed-files/rh-security-innovation-whitepaper-inc0374232mm-201604.pdf) from the Firefox pdf viewer letters from the print are missing. In this case it is replacing the letter combination "fi" with a symbol (see attached scan)

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
firefox-45.0.1-2.el7_2.x86_64
Firefox 38
Printer is a Canon iR-ADV C5235

How reproducible:
at every print of the PDF

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the PDF from the website to see it in the Firefox PDF viewer.
2. Print PDF from Firefox
3.

Actual results:
Letter combination "fi" is replaced by symbol

Expected results:
PDF should be printed with all letters

Additional info:
Downloading the PDF and printing from Evince works (also the print quality (fonts) is way better in Evince)
