Description David Binderman 2004-09-21 15:26:49 EDT
Description of problem:

I just tried to compile package sed-4.1-1 from
Redhat Fedora Core 3 Test 1.

The compiler said

execute.c(675): remark #592: variable "output_fd" is used before its
value is set

The source code is

      fchmod (output_fd, st.st_mode);

but output_fd hasn't been initialised. Suggest init before first use.

This is fixed since sed 4.1.1.
And FC3t2 now has sed 4.1.2.
