Description Nandini Chandra 2016-04-28 16:09:06 UTC
Description of problem:
-----------------------
I ran into this issue while verifying this BZ:

https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1283417

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
----------------------------------
5.6.0.4 Beta 2

How reproducible:
-----------------
Always

Steps to Reproduce:
------------------
1.Generate Policy events for a provider(For eg,on my appliance,I have defined this VM policy profile: Action taken - Tag VM for Event - VM Power on.So,every time a VM is powered on,the VM gets tagged.
2.View Policy events for the provider by navigating to the provider summary page, clicking 'Monitoring' and then clicking 'Timelines'.On the Timelines page,
select 'Policy Events' in the Show option drop down. The policy events are displayed.
3.Now, navigate away from this page or change any option on the Timelines page.
For eg:check the check box in the Event Type option.

Actual results:
--------------
Unable to view policy event timelines after navigating away from the page or refreshing the page.

Expected results:
----------------
It should be possible to view policy event timelines after navigating away from the page.

Additional info:

What does it mean, when you write

"Unable to view policy event timelines after navigating away from
the page or refreshing the page" ?

What error in particular do you see?

Is there perhaps an appliance showing this error?

Thanks.

Harpreet, I was able to reproduce this problem in the past, but the bug
seems to have gone away with your timelines revamp.

I'm moving this over to you, since you may have better insight on
what's going on in here.

Thanks.

Timelines was completely redesigned in 5.7. So, I think this issue can be closed
