Created attachment 1152658 [details] updated spec file The version currently in Fedora repositories is latest upstream release; however: 1) build system has changed to CMake 2) I required functionality/fixes from the latest git snapshot I have updated current spec file, and it seems to produce (via mock) a valid rpm. rpmlint reports 0 errors for .spec, .src.rpm, and .rpm, although there are warnings. I have tried my best to minimize these. All testing was completed on Fedora 23 x86_64. File "heimdall.desktop" may be obtained from existing package. Current maintainer: at some point, I would like to become a Fedora package maintainer also but I cannot do so at present. For now, please accept my .spec file contribution and update heimdall for all Fedora users. Thanks to all contributors of this package for providing me with a solid starting point.
Hi, thanks for the patch, but I'm a bit reluctant to push an unreleased version to Fedora. I prefer to wait to upstream to declare it stable. I suggest you to open a copr repository with your package: http://copr-fe.cloud.fedoraproject.org/ Kind regards.
