Description of problem: When we mount a tier volume (cold tier : Distributed-Disperse | 2 x (8 + 4) | Hot Tier Type : Distributed-Replicate 4 x 2 = 8) in windows client and then we try to create a new folder in share. It leads to hang of the mounted share and later disconnects the mount. The above scenario is verified with smbclient and is very much reproducible. The error it shows in smbclient is as follows :- smb: \> md xyz NT_STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT making remote directory \xyz The above scenario is working fine with samba xfs share and also with other volume type eg :- Disp-rep & Distribute Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): glusterfs-3.7.9-3.el7rhgs.x86_64 samba-client-libs-4.4.2-1.el7rhgs.x86_64 Windows Client 8.1 How reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.
