+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #1166633 +++ Description of problem: Changes in /etc/abrt/plugins/python.conf are not processed properly, thus one cannot configure "RequireAbsolutePath" option (it is the only option there ATM). Thus python scripts executed with relatalive path cannot not processed by abrt. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): abrt-addon-python-2.1.11-12.el7 How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. in /etc/abrt/abrt-action-save-package-data.conf set ProcessUnpackaged = yes 2. in /etc/abrt/plugins/python.conf set RequireAbsolutePath = no (or 0) 3. run ./demo.py Actual results: no problem in abrt-cli ls Expected results: id XZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ reason: invalid syntax (demo.py, line 2) Additional info: $ cat demo.py #!/usr/bin/python print('whatever'): Problem is in implementation of conf_enabled in abrt_exception_handler.py. --- Additional comment from Jakub Filak on 2014-11-25 10:02:08 EST --- Upstream commit https://github.com/abrt/abrt/commit/ab6725ef0be311d80391094e446a4e657d7257fd fixes this issue. --- Additional comment from Matej Habrnal on 2016-05-02 11:00:16 EDT --- Upstream pull request: https://github.com/abrt/abrt/pull/1141
