Description of problem: When attempting to use the Material theme in the 9.0.0 version of Horizon packaged in the RDO release repository, it is missing a number of icons on the page. Viewing the developer page at https://<dashboard-host>/dashboard/developer/ shows an example of the theme. The Chrome developer tools shows errors about the missing XStatic-mdi and Xstatic-roboto-fontface packages so it might be related. Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): openstack-dashboard-9.0.0-1.el7.noarch How reproducible: Using the material theme has missing icons Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install the openstack dashboard package and view the dashboard when connected to an OpenStack cluster Actual results: Icons show as boxes and chrome reports errors about unable to get files from the server. Expected results: Icons load and there are no errors about missing files Additional info: The icons are probably related to the font-awesome package but I don't know enough about how all of the code is intertwined to tell if that is the reason why or if these other missing dependencies are.
Looks like the issue comes from the python-Xstatic-XXX packages instead. I could reproduce this locally and it looked like the provided packages were missing files (i.e. the roboto package was missing the font files) Im checking with the package owner to rebuild those packages without the missing files.
This issue has been fixed meanwhile.
