Document URL: https://docs.openshift.com/enterprise/3.2/admin_guide/scheduler.html#sample-policy-configurations Describe the issue: The documentation does not show what file needs to be changed and how to add the changes into Openshift. Suggestions for improvement: Explain that the scheduler policy is a file that by default is located on the master located /etc/origin/master/scheduler.json. To confirm the location that OpenShift pull this policy from you can look what is set for this in the master-config.yaml file. # grep schedulerConfigFile /etc/origin/master/master-config.yaml From here you can make changes to the file. Once all the changes are made you will need to restart the atomic openshift master services for the changes to take effect. https://docs.openshift.com/enterprise/3.1/admin_guide/scheduler.html#default-scheduler-policy
Doc plan: (a) Link to from scheduler "Use Cases" section to "Update Labels on Nodes" section (admin guide). (b) Add section "Modifying Scheduler Policy" (following "Default Scheduler Policy") w/ content suggested in the BZ Description.
