Description of problem: I just installed Fedora24. Fully patched. I started remmina for the first time and created a profile for a SSH session to a server. I have a working .ssh/ tree and wanted to use preshared keys auth Anyway, starting the profile leads to a window showing up - and nothing else. It just hangs - no SSH session at all I've tried several times - no joy. What does happen is remmina roars up to 100% CPU - so it's not happy RDP sessions to Windows servers ironically works! ;-) Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): How reproducible: always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: Additional info: remmina-1.2.0-0.13.rcgit.7.fc24.x86_64 If I go "slogin user@server" from a terminal, that works fine -so SSH is working as expected

I have the same issue on Fedora 24 it seems that the issue has been fixed upstream, and it would only need to make the build packages available for FC24 as they are for FC25 : upstream https://github.com/FreeRDP/Remmina/issues/899 see http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=10031 could you build the newer packages for FC24 ? remmina-1.2.0-0.18.rcgit.14 or newer.
Unfortunately not. FreeRDP developers don't do stable releases and do not guarantee any API stability (even if they promised to). The last release occured 2 years ago. For the same reason, some software can no longer be built against it (Guacamole for example). The last time we tried to backport updates it became a nightmare (crashes, broken stuff, missing functionality, etc.) so we're basically up to bumping among snapshot during the development phase of a distribution (like what is happening now with Fedora 25 packages).
