Description of problem:
    slapd fails on start (service ldap start) with the following log
in /var/log/messages:
Oct  1 18:09:31 fc3t2 slaptest: sql_select option missing
Oct  1 18:09:31 fc3t2 slaptest: auxpropfunc error no mechanism available
Oct  1 18:09:31 fc3t2 ldap:  succeeded
Oct  1 18:09:31 fc3t2 slapd[3532]: sql_select option missing
Oct  1 18:09:31 fc3t2 slapd[3532]: auxpropfunc error no mechanism
available
Oct  1 18:09:31 fc3t2 ldap: slapd startup failed

    It does not matter if I use the 'default' config or modify
something. slapadd creates the database from ldif file fine.

openldap-servers-2.2.13-2

How reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install FC3-t2 with openldap servers
2. Try: service ldap start
3. Look at /var/log/messages

Actual Results: Starting slapd: [FAILED]

ops... the conf was owned by root.
