@cstratrak Can you take this bug?
(In reply to Raphael Groner from comment #7) > @cstratrak Can you take this bug? I'll handle it most probably sometime this week
cstratak's python-SecretStorage-2.2.1-1.fc25 completed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=779665
python-SecretStorage-2.2.1-1.fc24 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 24. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-aa4d7bdcd1
Hi Johannes, can you confirm that backintime still works with new python-SecretStorage? I took this package cause it's a dependency for backintime, otherwise we would run into retire issues. Asking you cause I don't use that feature in daily backintime job.
python-SecretStorage-2.2.1-1.fc24 has been pushed to the Fedora 24 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report. See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for instructions on how to install test updates. You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-aa4d7bdcd1
I can't really confirm it, since I don't know exactly when this is needed in backintime. It works for me with the updated package, but most likeley I didn't need anything from SecretStorage. Otherwise, just test it yourself.
I enabled execution of unit and acceptance tests in backintime. They all run with success. We can assume all still works fine.
As it turns out, python3-SecretStorage is to enable an optional feature for backintime. Tests run locally with success in both cases.
python-SecretStorage-2.2.1-1.fc24 has been pushed to the Fedora 24 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
