I'll handle it most probably sometime this week

Comment 9 Upstream Release Monitoring 2016-07-12 09:19:44 UTC
cstratak's python-SecretStorage-2.2.1-1.fc25 completed http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=779665

Comment 10 Fedora Update System 2016-07-12 09:39:56 UTC
python-SecretStorage-2.2.1-1.fc24 has been submitted as an update to Fedora 24. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-aa4d7bdcd1

Comment 11 Raphael Groner 2016-07-12 09:44:41 UTC
Hi Johannes,
can you confirm that backintime still works with new python-SecretStorage? I took this package cause it's a dependency for backintime, otherwise we would run into retire issues. Asking you cause I don't use that feature in daily backintime job.

Comment 12 Fedora Update System 2016-07-13 01:24:52 UTC
python-SecretStorage-2.2.1-1.fc24 has been pushed to the Fedora 24 testing repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
See https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Updates_Testing for
instructions on how to install test updates.
You can provide feedback for this update here: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2016-aa4d7bdcd1

Comment 13 hannes 2016-07-13 08:45:13 UTC
I can't really confirm it, since I don't know exactly when this is needed in backintime. It works for me with the updated package, but most likeley I didn't need anything from SecretStorage.
Otherwise, just test it yourself.

Comment 14 Raphael Groner 2016-07-13 09:46:57 UTC
I enabled execution of unit and acceptance tests in backintime. They all run with success. We can assume all still works fine.

Comment 15 Raphael Groner 2016-07-13 09:50:56 UTC
As it turns out, python3-SecretStorage is to enable an optional feature for backintime. Tests run locally with success in both cases.

Comment 16 Fedora Update System 2016-07-14 03:53:14 UTC
python-SecretStorage-2.2.1-1.fc24 has been pushed to the Fedora 24 stable repository. If problems still persist, please make note of it in this bug report.
