Description of problem:
After doing a up2date on my system yesterday I can no longer use SU
to get root access. I type in the password and it comes back saying
su: incorrect password.
I can log out and log in as root with the exact same password and I
can log in just fine so I know I am using the correct password.
I have made sure that CAPS lock is not on and I have even made sure
by just typing out the password to make sure it is not putting in
some funny characters....
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Type in su
2. Prompts for password
3. Type in password
Actual Results: su: incorrect password
Expected Results: root access
User error....I accidentally chmod 777 su
I changed it to 04755 and it started working again...
