Description Darío 2016-07-03 07:45:55 UTC
Description of problem:
Attempting to instrall tre.i686 in Fedora 24 with tre.x86_64 results in transaction error due to file conflicts.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable): 0.8.0-16

How reproducible:
In my system I was able to reproduce it every time.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In a x86_64 system, install tre.x86_64

dnf install tre

2. Install 32bits package tre.i686

dnf install tre.i686

3. Error ocurrs

Actual results:

Error: Transaction check error:
file /usr/share/locale/fi/LC_MESSAGES/tre.mo from install of tre-0.8.0-16.20140228gitc2f5d13.fc24.i686 conflicts with file from package tre-0.8.0-16.20140228gitc2f5d13.fc24.x86_64
file /usr/share/locale/sv/LC_MESSAGES/tre.mo from install of tre-0.8.0-16.20140228gitc2f5d13.fc24.i686 conflicts with file from package tre-0.8.0-16.20140228gitc2f5d13.fc24.x86_64

Expected results:
No transaction error.

Additional info:
I tried to uninstall tre packages and repeat with identical results.
My system is not a "fresh" installation of Fedora 24. I have been upgrading since Fedora 21 folowing the official upgrade documentation.

I got the transaction error also when doing the upgrade from Fedora 23 to Fedora 24, but removing tre would allow me to continue with the upgrade. But I got the described problem again when reinstalling it.

Thanks for the report. It looks like the fix I had for an earlier instance of this bug was incomplete.
